Routes into STEM – Wed 28 November

The University of Exeter and Devon County Council are pleased to offer the opportunity for young people to visit and get a taste at a top university. The day is aimed at students in Care from schools based in Devon and Torbay.

Routes into STEM Event: Wednesday 28 November 2018 (10.00am to 2.30pm)
for Years 9-13 Children in Care

Venue: University of Exeter, St Luke’s Campus Timings: Registration 10.00am, ends 2.30pm

This day is for students that have a particular interest in STEM subjects. Students will have the opportunity to attend interactive workshops, meet current staff and students studying STEM subjects and learn about progression routes and careers in STEM. Possible workshops include the following; Exercise & Sport Science, Medicine, Nursing, Neuroscience and Computer Science. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Young people will need to be accompanied and this can be by a member of the school staff or by their carer. Please book by Friday 2 November latest. Full details and booking form from Natalie Bracher, Outreach Officer, University of Exeter, outreach@exeter.ac.uk
